free was my first completed sports anime, and needless to say—it was absolutely AMAZING. despite not even having its own manga, the plot and storyline was SO peak. watching them introduce each character with different unique backstories actually had SOBBING for every single one… it’s just too good. having to see the iwatobi swim break up due to haruka and makoto going to college was so bittersweet… especially since it introduced us to a whole new chapter—if only it were an eternal summer as it said. free will always be my favorite anime oat, it changed my life trust.. if you asked me abt free, i could just yap on forever.
